New book by Tatiana Pogrebinskaya entitled «Surnames as trademarks — legal protection in Russia»

New book by Tatiana Pogrebinskaya, PhD (Law), Russian Trademark attorney (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), entitled «Surnames as trademarks — legal protection in Russia», has been incorporated into the Russian legal online resource GARANT.

Trademarks that match a surname or contain a word element similar to any of the surnames commonly used in the Russian Federation (those of famous persons, businessmen or common people) traditionally bring up methodologically disputable and practically difficult issues of such trademarks’ registration and legal protection. The book comprehensively deals with these issues.
