Online Seminar “IP law: new edition of Part IV of the Russian Civil Code, legal practice and relevant legal issues”

Sergey Medvedev, PhD, LLM, Senior Lawyer (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow) spoke on “IP transactions: practical aspects of conclusion and registration - main problems, typical mistakes” at the Online Seminar “IP law: new edition of Part IV of the Russian Civil Code, legal practice and relevant legal issues” hosted by the Law Institute “M-Logos” (Moscow), for lawyers and other experts practicing in the IP area. The speaker highlighted the major novellas concerning disposal of exclusive rights and amendments in registration of the respective agreements. The presentation was supported by the court cases from Sergey practice. Particular attention was paid on unusual cases that arise in the process of drafting, conclusion, modification and cancellation of assignment, license, franchise, pledge and asset management agreements.The Seminar gathered 20 executives and lawyers from industrial, financial and IT sectors.
