Round table "Protection of Trademark Owners' Rights in E-Commerce: Current Practice and Prospects of Industry Regulation"

Anton Bankovskiy, Ph.D., Trademark Attorney, Counsel, and Dmitry Rusakov, Head of Brand Protection Group (both - Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), took part in the round table "Protection of Trademark Owners' Rights in E-Commerce: Current Practice and Prospects of Industry Regulation", with the report "Regulatory Aspects of Marketplaces Operations in the Context of Protecting the Rights of Trademark Owners", organized by the Association of European Businesses.

During the fruitful discussion, representatives of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the largest online trading platforms and product manufacturers worked out a format of interaction, which proved to be productive and will be continued on the platform of the Association in the near future.
