Second Annual Conference "IP Protection and Enforcement: Innovations, Hot Issues, Litigation, Decisions"

Sergey Medvedev, PhD, LLM, Trademark & Design Attorney, Senior Lawyer (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), spoke on “Trademark as a Tool for Repression of Parallel Imports” at the Conference “IP Protection and Enforcement: Innovations, Hot Issues, Litigation, Decisions” held by Business Way Forum in Moscow. The Conference covered legal and practical aspects related to protection and enforcement of various IP subject matters, in particular trademark and copyright protection on the Internet, free and open source software use, regulation of unfair competition and abuse of rights concepts, patent strategies and landscapes, challenges of enforcement of patent rights in the pharma sector. The conference was attended by over 70 participants, including patent and trademark attorneys, lawyers and business representatives from different industries.
