6 May 2014Sergey Medvedev, PhD, LLM, Senior Lawyer (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), participated in the 47th Annual Legal Symposium organized by IFA. The Symposium provided for different legal and practical issues in conjunction with conclusion and execution of franchising transactions, including but not limited to, the disclosure and registration of franchise agreements, protection of intellectual property and personal data, antitrust compliance and taxation, dispute resolution and arbitration, as well as problems associated with structuring the international franchising deals.
Sergey Medvedev met with the firm’s clients of the firm and shared his personal experience in terms of franchising practice in Russia and neighboring jurisdictions. The Symposium was attended by more than 500 participants from various countries, specifically business representatives, executives and lawyers.
