Tatiana Pogrebinskaya became a finalist in the Photo Contest «Brands in City Environment and Brand Piracy»

Tatiana Pogrebinskaya, PhD, Trademark Attorney (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), became a finalist in the Photo Contest «Brands in City Environment and Brand Piracy».

EMTG company and «Citycelebrity» IT portal conducted a photo research on «how brands ‘live’ in city environment». They accepted works highlighting two key issues: how well known trademarks shape a visual image of cities, and examples of unfair use of brands or use of copycat brands when unscrupulous businessmen use designations similar to known marks or elements of their companies’ style.

The finale gathered 11 works: 6 in nomination «copycat-brands» and 5 in nomination «brands in city environment».
