World Intellectual Property Day

April 26 is World Intellectual Property Day, which was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in 1970.
This Day is a unique opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements of inventors and creators around the world and to reaffirm the power of intellectual property to advance technical progress and the flourishing of the arts, as well as shaping the face of our world, and the importance of protecting and nurturing our intellectual assets.
This year WIPO celebrates the special role of women inventors, creators and entrepreneurs around the world in overcoming challenges and paving new paths. Today we congratulate all those who work in the field of intellectual property and thank them for their work.
We wish creative inspiration and successful ideas, as well as strong protection of intellectual property rights in a storm of information and ideas.
