Valery Narezhny, Ph.D. Counsel (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow) spoke on ‘Tax aspects of transactions with intellectual property rights’ in the section ‘Intellectual Property as a Tool for Business Development’ at the IX Interregional Tax Forum in Ekaterinburg.

The author raises the problems of perception of trademarks made in Latin and offer a solution, how to avoid discrepancies when writing trademarks in Latin and Cyrillic.

Nikolay Raschupkin, Deputy Director (Gorodissky & Partners, Ekaterinburg), lectured for the Educational program "IP commercialization in the university" at the Ural Federal University (UrFU). The course aimed at the university management team and included lectures, self-training, and presentation of projects at the final class.
